R.O.S rain on summer?

A welcome respite from the intensifying March summer heat, earlier this afternoon is greeted with pouring rain.

Did I just say rain? what the heck!

Well, it is just very unusual when it rains during summer. But this phenomenon is currently happening in my country.

Having occasional rainfalls during summer isn't really new but it's also not common. Some said that these rains of the summer is the effect of the rapidly changing atmosphere of the planet earth. Some are saying that this is normal and happens once in awhile. Well, for some it's ok and some find it annoying.

Actually, for me it is very okay. In a sense that I enjoy the cool air we missed during this season and yes! I almost forgot, I had always been thinking watering our plants. Since our plants over here is almost dead because of the heat of the sun and also! My mother had always been reminding me to do this kind of chore even before she left abroad. She just love plants so much! specially orchids!

But heaven just soo good to do the chore for me. Now I'm pretty sure our plants will not be dead terribly as they have already sipped much water they need to.

To my mother: 'Hello ma! Your plants are not yet all dead. Well, some of them are. But don't worry they've been taking care of themselves even without my help lols. You see they are still healthy! Here is one of your fave.'

How to spend a Great Summer

13 Ways To Kick Off A Great Summer

School’s out! It’s the perfect time for some Me Time—and I've got 13 great ways to spend it!
Might as well you want to know about it...soo here it is! Of course you can follow this tips!

13. Stuff all my school books into the deepest, darkest corner of my room.

12. Getting on my blog to keep me busy during the summer days.

11. Buy a hammock.

10. Since we don't have air conditioner at home, I would turn the electric fan on full blast, and sleep the afternoon away.

9. Buy a kikay kit full of beach beauty products. (If ever I can go to a beach)

8. Turn up the volume, and sing my favorite song really loud while jumping up and down on my bed.

7. Get on the Internet and search for something new and cool sites.

6. Get a foot scrub and a pedicure so I can start wearing my summer flip-flops. But I usually do foot scrubbing and pedicure on my own skill and talent. yeah!

5. Buy my favorite ice cream and not be afraid to eat it. Even if it would be a 1 gallon of ice cream!

4. Take a bath at least 3 times a day.

3. Playing my sport- tennis together with my colleagues.

2. Practice my backstroke. In case, I will be going to some swimming activity.

1. Lastly...is to CHILL out this SUMMER! Beat the Summer heat by eating 'Halo-halo', ice cream, drinking uber chilled coke, ice tea and even eating ice! Which is one of my hobbies of all time!

Ohhh my GOD I'm loving it. Im free!!
my final exams was finished, and one word came out from my mouth "HORRaahhyy". :D

It’s been a while, and I thought this might be a good time to write in my blog.

My last 4 months has been used for school for finishing everything, and preparing for our final exam.

So, today, uhm I mean just last Saturday I finished my last exam, which went pretty well.

Yeah!!!....I'm so happy today, because I just finished my final exams and now I can have more time to concentrate my blog. Actually I have 2 months holiday, so my plan is to spend the next few weeks catching up with some things that has been left behind. But since I have to attend summer classes for a month, means only a month would be my holiday. HMmmm.. Whatever! I want to go anywhere, I'm just so..sooo uber happy...yeah......what should I do for a month? blogging???LOL!

I wish I could go somewhere! Travel! Yeah travel!! Be exposed and have fun!
But well, maybe I can't do this on this summer season...I would rather reserved this traveling adventure for next year! Yes! Right! Summer travel celebration will be next year! I'm pretty sure I will have lots of stories to tell you...

Well, that's about it for now.

NO internet at HOme

Can you believe it,I made it through a weekend and whole soo boring days without the Internet at home.?

Well, we do have internet at home, DSL actually. But due to unforseen circumstances, I'm left with no internet started days ago till yesterday. I'm used of 'always' having an internet connection at home, so it will be pretty good to have. But on those days without internet or cable televison and given that I'm relatively bored, I entertained myself by borrowing DVD's (pirated DVD's ssshhhh keep quiet! lols!) from my friends. Thanks to my uber thoughtful friends! I have to say, I'm quite happy with it and how my addiction to movies have come a long way.

Yah! It's a lot, I know...

But you know what? Having NO internet at home is somewhat awesome.

The good things about having no Internet at home:

More sleep
No late nights writing and surfing when, really, I could have been sleeping.

Better sleep
I went to bed with a clear brain, rather than being overstimulated from ingesting a lot of useless information.

More peace
Oh yeah...I love getting to that point where I have to figure out what to do because I can't suck away my time online. It feels scary, and awesome...

But hey! Don't get me wrong! I mentioned that having NO internet is 'somewhat' awesome but what I just mean is I CAN'T SURVIVE having No internet. All year round or worse, forever!

Thank God we have it back!!! I'm uber Happy~~ *_^

Stressful week

This post is going to be so random following the pattern set by my previous posts. It would also be a deliberate display of stupidity as one may put it. One big trash entrusted to the rest of the world.

1:15 in the morning. and I'm still up. I haven’t finished studying…I have three remaining exams this week.

I was supposed to be writing about something…But since this window took a lot of time to load realized that it was plain rubbish not worth typing.

Am I happy? Obviously I am not. Am I worried? I sure am. As always.

As I have mentioned, I am far from being done with the tasks whose difficulties I failed to estimate correctly. I have asked myself a lot of times already how long it would actually take me to learn proper time management. And after contemplating for almost half the day, obviously there is just no way I will be learning my lesson soon. Of course this is unless one swift blow to the head gets my mind unhinged ironically setting my thinking straight.

Well....

Have a stressful week to every college students like me! lols!

WW - One and Only

My 'One and Only' remembrance I have when I was baptized.I was 'One' year old in this photo.
This picture over here was taken at the best studio (before) somewhere here in our place after the baptism.
My elder sister is my 'One and Only' ninang or Godmother during that moment because we can't afford to pay people and participate in the ceremony at that time.
And yes! I almost forgot! My mother told me that I was baptized during the fiesta celebration in the city, actually it was a mass baptism..

It's still memorable right??!

Happy thoughts!

I’m not sure why, but it seems to me that teens these days are much more stressed than my expectation of my generation. Browsing through Multiply and Facebook, I always notice how my younger friends’ posts are often related to being sad or angry or annoyed. What’s worse is that being sad or angry or annoyed seems to be the “in” thing. How come happiness isn’t cool anymore?

Inspired by Coca-Cola’s new ad campaign (you’ve probably seen those huge billboards all over the city. I love the message that something as “ordinary” as a bottle of Coke can make you smile.), I’ve come up with a list of things you shouldn’t get stressed over. I hope this helps you see the brighter side of things, because life is too short to waste on NOT being happy!

1. Discovering that you’ve already worn out your favorite pair of shoes.
This just means they’ve already served their purpose because you’ve already worn them enough times. They’ve already gone to the mall, to the park, to your best friend’s house, and even out of town.

2. A bad grade on a test.
There will always be other tests, which you can promise yourself you’ll study harder for and definitely do better on.

3. A fight with a friend.
There are exceptions, of course, but as a general rule, the friends who will stick with you no matter what are the friends you’ve fought and made up with at least once.

4. A strict set of rules and a curfew earlier than everyone else’s.
In my favorite show Privileged, one character says, “I think kids secretly want boundaries. They want to be told what’s okay and what’s not.” Think about it—what kind of decisions would you make and what kind of person would you be if your parents let you do anything you wanted?

5. A broken phone, a busted Net connection, and other technology woes.
This only goes to prove that you shouldn’t rely on modern technology for everything. Can’t text your best friend? Call her landline instead. Can’t do research online? Head over to the library. Our grandparents lived without gadgets and gizmos—I’m sure you can too, at least until you get a new phone and have your Internet fixed.

6. Your crush not liking you back.
You may feel like you will never meet anyone as cute or as smart or as charming as he is, but trust me, you will. And when that guy comes, he will think YOU are the cutest, smartest, most charming person he’s ever met!

7. Being single on this year of the Ox's??.
Go out with your girlfriends. Stay home and bake cookies. Or, like me, make plans to watch complete season of 'Gossip Girl' or my all-time favorite 'Smallville'.! just monopolize your stale Dvd's at home. or rather, go for an exercise sports this upcoming summer season! I'm pretty sure, when classes starts, your friends will be shocked of the new figure you have!

8.
9.
10.

I’ve left the last three spaces blank—those are for YOU to fill! Let me know what you come up with and let’s trade happy thoughts! :)
